As a four year player and three year, injury-free starter for Hofstra University, as a Fullback and Tight End, Phil Riley, originating from Huntingtown, MD, is ready for lies ahead of him, "I am truly excited for my opportunities in the future. I have played every game in preparation for a chance to play in the NFL. I am hoping to get the opportunity to show my talents at the next level." One of the younger players, and now vying for an NFL roster spot, Riley is fortunate to have a maturity in stature which allows for him to reflect on his college career, "I was honored to be given the Unsung Hero Award by my team and coaches at Hofstra. It proves that all my hard work and dedication was worthwhile."

High School: Was a four-year member of the football and wrestling teams for the Hurricanes of Huntingtown (MD) High School...Named to all-conference team at tight end and linebacker...Scholar-Athlete Award recipient...Was a member of the 2004 state championship wrestling team...Placed First in the state in wrestling in 2005 for the Heavyweight Division....Also named to all-conference and all-region teams...A member of the Wrestling Hall of Fame.
